Saturday I reassembled the front brake on my bike, then went to Erik, Dave, and Chelsea's party in College Park. I brought all my DJ gear but after I got there I discovered that the power adapter for my mixer was not in my bag with my other stuff, so that sucked. I went to the Giant and the CVS to see if they had any suitable replacement (it was past 22:30 by this time so electronics stores would be closed) but no luck; my mixer requires 12 V, 1000 mA but the closest they had at CVS only went up to 600 mA. Sinno had something that was rated at 830 mA but it had the wrong connector. Apparently 12 V, 1000 mA, male connector AC adapters are fairly uncommon, as a replacement one costs $50. I'm sure mine is somewhere around the house, as I haven't taken them anywhere since I last used them. Other than that, party was fun.
I woke up on Sunday 13:00 and went back to CP to retrieve my gear, as I was too tired to load it up after the party and I was already halfway there, having crashed at Adam's. We loaded up my stuff then ate breakfast at Plato's Diner around 14:00. Got back to B'more and worked on my bike: changed the oil and oil filter, replaced the spark plugs, and changed the air filter. The front brake no longer squeaks and the bike feels a little smoother and more responsive now. I am planning on getting a riding jacket today after work because I've really been wanting to ride to work soon.
